ATTENTION : DON’T BOTHER. the method he shows is the correct way, the only problem is the roms are probaly outdated. just look up other videos and use those sources instead!

If anyone is having problems with “waiting for reboot” using redsn0w, check to make sure the firmware you downloaded is correct.
It is very easy to download the incorrect one if you weren’t paying attention and that will cause redsn0w to hang.

Hello people… I tried many times to do what is shown here, even before coming here to youtube to look for some sort of help. But there is a problem that just doesnt let me go on and it is that, already having the redsn0w software, the firmware is just not showing after I downloaded it many times from different websites. According to the video Im supposed to get a white icon, but all I got every time is a zipped folder with the name of the icon…

Mine started of Brown on the first boot. Will it be a problem?
is this free? and why is it that when i download the program it downloads it as a zip file? also when i try to open it, asks me to extract all files which it works fine until the window opens which says to choose the right firware BUT when i try to choose the firmware it says it cant find it even i open the folder in which i saved it to the firmware folder appears empty PLSSS HELP!!!!
@walaodude Hate to burst your bubble, but i think the only way to unjailbreak is to restore your iphone to factory settings…so, bye bye apps… =P
