Replace your failed iPod video hard drive with a solid state drive. Adapters can be bought at Tarkan.info/store. update – In order to format the compact flash card to work properly, Step 1 – put the card into the adapter, put it in the iPod, and close it up. Step 2 – plug it in and let iTunes open up. Just do a restore, and it should work. If step 2 didn’t work, follow the steps here to restart the iPod in to ‘Disk Mode’ step 3 – turn on and off the hold switch, step 4 – press and hold the select and menu buttons until it restarts step 5 -press and hold the select and play buttons, and it’ll boot into ‘Disk Mode’.
